I always love how narrow fans try and justify the badness of a book and slam its negative reviews with the “if it’s so bad why do you read it” argument. Sorry, kids, it doesn’t work that way. See, to hate a book, one must read it first, so your overused argument is invalid. Stupid fans.
The best one is the double logic lock of: “If you don’t like it, you don’t have to read it.” and “You’re not allowed to hate the series if you haven’t read the whole thing.”
Um… dabwah? So uh, do you want me to read the books or not? I’m getting mixed signals.
